Help OACC raise $10,000 by January 2012 to support our Lunar New Year Festival 2012!
Tuesday, November 22, 2011It is our pleasure to invite you to sponsor the Oakland Asian Cultural Center’s (OACC) upcoming Lunar New Year celebration for the Year of the Dragon on Saturday, February 4, 2012. This event is free and open to the public to reach a broader audience and continue our mission to build vibrant communities through Asian & Pacific Islander American (APIA) arts and culture programs. Last year's Festival had over 1,000 attendees and we expect to have even more people attend! We hope you will support this exciting, colorful celebration of diverse APIA cultures and communities.
Our Lunar New Year Festival will highlight Chinese, Filipino, Japanese, Indian, Okinawan, Mongolian, and Korean cultures, with performances by OACC’s amazing partner organizations, teaching artists and artists in residence. There will also be a variety of Asian and Pacific Islander arts and craft activities for youth!
This Festival promises to be a unique opportunity for you. We estimate that you or your company’s sponsorship will be seen by over 10,000 people in Oakland and the greater San Francisco Bay Area through various benefits including ad space on our lobby’s large multimedia display, marketing and outreach table during the event, ad space in our program booklet, logo placement on posters and flyers, and other marketing and outreach materials.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 by January 2012 and sponsorships of $100 or more will help us reach this goal! Your contribution will ensure that the diverse arts and cultural traditions of APIA communities are available to the broader community and preserved for generations to come.
